Terms of Service
This is the basic overview of the terms of service, but a more detailed format will be provided by e-mail after the piece has been discussed, but before any payments are made.
The prices shown in the pricing guide are an estimated amount for a similar level of detail. Things like complicated clothing styles, intricate patterns, or detailed props may require additional charges.
A deposit of 50% of the official quote sent to the customer by e-mail is required before any work on the piece begins. This reserves your spot in the work queue and covers the amount of labor for the initial sketch.
The remaining balance of the total quote is due upon completion of the work. This covers up to 2 rounds of minor revisions (e.g., styling details, color corrections, etc.)
Major revisions to finished pieces and upgrades to the type of piece will incur additional charges for the amount of the work added.
The artwork itself remains the property of the artist. While you can request art for original characters or concepts, and those ideas are your own property, the artwork belongs to the artist and must be credited as such if distributed or used for reasons outside of personal use. The artist may add the piece to the gallery at their discretion. However, reasons not to have the work included in the gallery may be considered if mentioned in the course of discussion of the work, or brought to the attention of the artist anytime thereafter.
